Joined a great team of people putting together a space to help people explore their creative passions. Not exactly sure who or what this will develop into. All I know is there are a lot of really interesting, creative people living in the local area who need a place to play with their ideas. The plan is to provide a place to explore.

dFab Net is a not-for-profit organization, which aims to promote information technology, research and innovation in manufacturing for its members and their customers. Our objectives are to:• Identify and promote the benefits of Digital Fabrication• Address issues and obstacles encountered by the use of digital information and tools• Research, identify and address opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of digital manufacturing• Promote the general adoption of Digital Fabrication• Foster cooperation and understanding between designers, fabricators and software/hardware suppliers• Encourage innovation through cross-industry collaboration

Leading the implementation and development of the Mosaic concept into commercial production. Responsible for most everything including strategy, HR, IS/IT, Operations, etc. Hope to build team soon.

Envisioned for the east coast of Puerto Rico, comprised of over 8,000 hilly, ocean front acres including the second largest runway and the second largest port in the Caribbean, the Roosevelt Roads Redevelopment Project was designed to become the largest, most progressive destination in the Caribbean and serve as:• A portal to the Caribbean for the Americas and Europe• A hub of entertainment• A top-notch example of sustainable, smart city infrastructure• An example of complete commitment to LEED certified, carbon neutral, ecotourismThe vision for the project included an airport, cruise ship port, marina, seven hotels, retail, world-class entertainment, top tier gaming, sports venues, corporate business park, research and development park, water park and residential.As a Founding Member, Larry was responsible for organizing and directing a world-class design and construction team including WATG Architects, Hill International and DCK construction.

As Chairman, Larry led the WATG Board of Directors in the development and implementation of several Strategic Direction and Visioning efforts, modification of WATG's Ownership Program and organization of the governance process. Additionally, Larry was responsible to the firm's 60 Shareholders.

As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Larry Rocha was responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of WATG’s information systems, including financial and project management systems, local and wide area networking, and enterprise-wide databases. While at WATG, he lead a services group responsible for serving management and staff in the delivery of high quality design services and implementation of new technologies.Additionally, Larry spearheaded many of WATG’s innovation initiatives and was responsible for leading creative teams through the ideation, design and creation of award winning design competition submittals including: • Mosaic – First Place, John Hardy Group Radical Innovation in Hospitality Competition (2010) • Haptik – First Place, USGBC’s Sustainable Suite Competition (2009) WATG/IDEO • Rio Olympic Park Competition

After 10 years of heading up WATG's CAD an IT programs, Larry spearheaded WATG's Information Systems group. He became Corporate Director of Information Services in 1996.Larry has directed and coordinated the use of technology on diverse WATG projects, some of which have included: The Disneyland Paris Hotel in France; the Acapulco Marriott in Mexico; Pacific Islands Club in Guam; The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel in Pasadena; and The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas.Larry has authored many articles on the subject of technology in architecture that have appeared in professional publications such as: Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture, Engineering NewsRecord, and has been a repeated speaker at several industry conferences.
