Founder and Dean of a scholarly symposium for elite, high potential mid-career YMCA professionals focused on thought leadership, scholarship, critical thinking and communication skills. The project ran for 8 years, hosted by Washington University in St. Louis and graduated 240 participants.

Led the work of the 6th largest YMCA organization in the world for 17 years: 25 community branches, 250,000 members, 3,000 employed staff, 20,000 volunteers, 4 camps and more than $500M in real estate and facilities. During this period, the L.A. YMCA was the most prolific fund-raising YMCA in the world, raising nearly $400M in contributed support for operations, 21 capital projects and endowment. Its Board of Directors was considered one of Los Angeles' premier non-profit Boards.
