Many sites include the development custom Drupal modules and all have a custom built sub_theme based on Bootstrap3 / Responsive designs. Included the selection of replacement of outdated Drupal 6 module projects. The websites provide scientific data, publications, and specific-task-based open source tools built to researchers around the globe. WSU Mainlab also hosts related Drupal based websites for other Universities across the US. The nature of the research being conducted is to improve important food crops through selective breeding. A variety of desired traits are "tagged" through the use of genetic markers. Then genetic samples are taken from the resulting cultivars to determine which plants have produced the superior new root stock. Research data includes traits such as drought tolerance and survival under the increasing challenges of global climate change.

Contracted working full-time to design, build and train the in-house team on a new Drupal 7 website project. Working with a very small (>12) private company, hired to design and generally guide them through build of an entirely new Drupal 7 version of their existing 10 year old, Healthcare related, HTML/CSS website. This project leveraged Drupal 7 in a non-traditional Microsoft sever based 8-node cluster as the production environment. At the time the previous version of the website was replaced, it was receiving 500K visitors per month. A number of design and maintenance improvements was part of the overall development process, adding a consulting element to the project. In addition responsible for training internal staff with varying skill levels how to maintain their respective areas of responsibility on the new Drupal website.
