The L. A. Dunn Group has a 40% ownership in Quality Profiles Ltd which owns several proprietary, personality profiles which are exclusively distributed by the Self Management Group. The L. A. Dunn Group is family owned and currently focuses on performance improvement in businesses of any size. Larry has over 40 years experience in business and has developed solutions in manufacturing, distribution, financial and other businesses.

With 40 years experience in all aspects of many types of business, Larry is one of the last of the generalists. He does specialize in consulting on performance and retention issues but he is also a factotum who has done most things and would not mind trying a few more.

For nearly 2 decades, Larry had worked closely with John Marshall, Ph.D. and Bob McHardy, the principals at the Self Management Group. He has prepared validation studies, co-developed several personality profiles based on the Personal Orientation Profile. These include the Customer Care Pro, the Professional Pro, the Career Management Pro and the SportsPro and GolfPro. Larry continues to work with SMG as he also expands his Performance Consulting practice

Larry participated in the launch of McLean-Budden's RRSP ready mutual funds. During this period he completed the Canadian Securities Course successfully.

After joining the IT department as an analyst, Larry moved into the Diagnostics division to work on special projects for the division. These include sales support and administrative functions.

Larry worked on several projects including record royalty reporting and others related to MCA Records and Universal Pictures

Larry started as a computer operator with CGE and was quickly promoted to programmer. He left for Honeywell prior to the merger but stayed on afterwords. He worked as a programmer, analyst and project manager at client sites and at Head Office. He developed a sound understanding of business practices and systems during this time. His time with Honeywell was split between Toronto and Ottawa
