Responsible for planning, implementation, and execution of migration of client environment from Windows for Workgroups to Windows NT 3.51 & NT 4.0 at Texas Instruments. Successfully migrated 1500 systems in 6 months.

Managed daily operations and strategy of the 27th Support Group at Cannon Air Force Base. I worked with senior staff to create and build this team in support of nearly 2,000 civilian and military personnel. Directly reporting to the commander of the 27th Support Group, I lead this team in building the information systems infrastructure to support operations at the base and during deployments. I built and maintained Novell file servers connected to these disparate locations as well as working with the Communications Unit to provide distributed email and calendaring capapbilites to Support Group. I had two direct reports on the team.

Manager of 27th Communications Squadron Maintenance Control and Help Desk. This team was the "heart" of the Communications Squadron Maintenance Complex, coordinating for the maintenance of communications equipment from secure telephones, data center operations, land based radio, radar, and the central help desk for Cannon Air Force base. This was the first combined Maintence Control and Help Desk in the Air Force. Leveraging the 24x7 support of Maintenance Control for operations with the first level support of a helpdesk.Directly responsible for creating ciriculum and executing training classes for base personnel covering MS-DOS, Windows 95, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.I managed 6 direct reports in this group.

Managed Computer Support team during base closure. Responsible for support of base personnel, computers, networks, and telephone equipment during draw down. Also responsible for correct distribution of classified and unclassified equipment to other defense agencies.
