Have assisted in the resolution of over 250 business and family disputes.+ C-Level expertise.

Americas

Served as business coach and sales executive for Pedalbiz LLC, which manufactures a 16 passenger group cycle used by entertainment and fitness businesses in the Americas. Coordinated the spin-off of the business from Caztek Engineering. Provided guidance in brand development, marketing and capital management to the company's customers both pre and post.

I was impressed by the founder's commitment to build this industrial robotics business and signed on as business coach and later became co-owner and CEO. I raised $1.3MM of capital through private placement and managed daily operations for several years to free the owner for sales and product development.

Founded ATC Inc. which provided web-based enterprise software to manage the training and development of employees in Fortune 500 companies. I raised $2MM venture capital, managed product development and grew company to 20+ employees. Users included: Cargill, 3M, Land O'Lakes, AT&T Wireless, Booz Allen, and LifeTouch. Acquired in 2005 by Compendium.

Hopkins, MN

Managed $5MM operating unit with print publishing, technical writing and multimedia development. Participated in development of first strategic/marketing plan of the company. Supported sales of corporate training programs.

Minneapolis, MN

Responsible for strategic planning for education market segments, 3rd party software distribution agreements and sales support for mini-computer based solftware applications for test scoring/reporting and learning management. Managed staff of 25.

Grand Rapids, MI

Managed 20 staff working on 30 grants/contracts totalling $700K/year from federal, state, foundation or private sector sources for the evaluation of educational programs. Implemented technology system for internal scanning and scoring and statistical analysis of achievement tests.

Galveston, TX

Developed and delivered health-related educational programs along the Mexico-Texas border through the AHEC (Area Health Education Center) which served the most improverished health care areas of the U.S.

After several years of teaching science/music in a rural Alabama school I joined the Center to assist school districts with the process of court-mandated desegregation. Taught in-service education classes on new "inquiry" methods for science and social studies that facilitated an equal opportunity to learn for students of all races. Assisted district.
