• Accountable for the standards, support, specification, design and implementation of information systems used for the operational support and management of SaskTel's telecommunications network. • Managed 20 engineers and 20+ technicians, multiple budgets and projects worth millions of dollars annually.• Project Manager for a $150+ million cross-Canada program to develop an integrated transport network support system. This new system reduced service provisioning times from months to days and mean-time-to-repair from days to hours. • Managed the development of a $2 Million integrated switch surveillance system which took the company from paper analysis to automation, freeing highly skilled technicians to work on new systems and services for the company. • Analysed all aspects of SaskTel’s business; from multiple network technologies and network overlays through to traffic management, service delivery and service assurance; and then apply the knowledge to systems to optimize efficiencies and automate processes.• Designed, Developed, and Maintained PC based operational support systems and providing front line support to operations staff.• Developed operational guidelines and procedures for network operations and customer service.• Responsible for the development, maintenance and modification of software systems that interface toll switches and billing processes. • Assisted operations personnel with trouble shooting and problem resolution. • Represented SaskTel on STENTOR Billing Standards Committee with other telco teams across Canada to develop standards and methods.
