As director, president, and CEO of the North American Drilling Corporation, Larry M. Koonce draws on diverse experience in the oil and gas industry. He comes to his current role having served as president of a Texas-based oil and gas exploration group, which he joined following a successful tenure as vice president of a similarly focused company in Dallas. Larry Koonce also draws on in-depth experience in selecting drilling sites as well as in the analysis of engineering reports related to the development of wells.A graduate of Texas Tech University's bachelor's program in business administration, within which he focused on management and marketing, Larry M. Koonce also possesses knowledge of the financial and organizational aspects of oil and gas. He has participated in evaluating and acquiring investment opportunities related to both industries and draws on a first-hand knowledge of oil and gas accounting, contract negotiations, and investor relations as well as the direction of marketing programs. An active member of the North Texas Oil and Gas Association, Mr. Koonce also contributes to the broader community as a participant in such cycling fundraisers as Make a Wish 100 and the Livestrong Challenge.
