Larry Tiscornia spent 21 years at Major League Soccer/Soccer United Marketing as Vice President of Broadcasting at the Commissioners office in New York City. During this time of tremendous growth for MLS and the sport of soccer in North America, Larry had the privilege to handle many incredible responsibilities.Larry was in charge of the league's entire broadcast infrastructure workflows for all MLS live remote productions and broadcast operations that distributed the leagues content globally. In this role, Larry was the primary production contact for all the leagues media rights holders from ESPN, NBC Sports, Fox Sports and Univision in the United States to Bell Media, IMG, Sky Sports, DAZN and more throughout the world, ensuring that MLS/SUM’s over 1000 broadcast productions yearly were presented in the most professional manner to its constantly growing audience. Operationally, under Larry's leadership at MLS, the league installed a league-wide data and video fiber network that connected all 26 MLS venues with the league office in New York City and their production facility in South Florida (VISTA Worldlink); The creation and implementation of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) where MLS was at the forefront of this initiative that has become standard in the sport; Digitized the league video archives, moving from tape based to cloud based workflows; and developed and implemented broadcast standards for all current and future MLS venues throughout North America (25+ venues).
