My responsibility was to help commercialize Chirp's revolutionary new ultra low power, ultrasonic smart sensor. After 5 rewarding years at Dynamic Digital Depth (DDD), growing markets for award-winning 3D software solutions, I moved down the (virtual) hall to DDD's wholly owned subsidiary, GenMe, Inc., a company created to commercialize software for AR and VR applications.I helped GenMe grow from a start-up offering one beta product to a global industry leader in background removal, replacement, and blurring software solutions and virtual reality (VR) gaming software products.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:➤ Launched new products, increased market visibility, and built key relationships with the leading PC, PC gaming and motherboard companies in the world. Secured licensing agreements with top 5 PC and motherboard companies.➤ Grew sales significantly – will ship a minimum of 50+ million units in 2017.➤ Developed global strategy for PC motherboard market, built industry alliances to execute on strategy. I came on board at DDD shortly after we secured our first Tier 1 customer. Charged with ramping up revenues and increasing units shipped, I worked with the team to establish the company as a global industry leader. My efforts included establishing partnerships, introducing joint marketing programs, and developing 3D conversion software in both U.S. and Asian markets. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:➤ Captured 80% of 2D to 3D software market, earning industry-leading quality reviews for software that resulted in multiple top-tier licenses and a $3 million (100%) revenue increase from 2010 to 2011, and a $4 million (80%) revenue increase from 2011 to 2012.➤ Traveled extensively across Asia and the U.S. to develop business through face-to-face meetings and product demos with potential customers. Customers included leading PC, TV, and mobile hardware companies: Sony, Lenovo, HP, Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.➤ Solidified company reputation, leading to spin-off subsidiary, GenMe, in 2015.

An executive adviser for this boutique venture capitalist company, I provided consulting services to small online software companies.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:➤ Steered virtual business plan provider through dramatic turnaround. Improved BBB ranking from ‘F’ to ‘A’; implemented quality control/assurance and customer support systems; and introduced metrics to improve tracking and measurement.➤ Advised online data lifecycle management start-up on beta launch of product and first customer demos with Tier 1 customers. ➤ Provided executive leadership in operations, business development, and marketing for a provider of managed cloud services and training.

I founded this joint venture between Olympus Corporation and Movaz Networks, securing $10M financing and establishing a Redwood City headquarters, R&D center in Atlanta, and assembly plant in Japan.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:➤ Developed complete strategy and vision across sales, marketing, competitive analysis, and IP and implemented five-year business plan.➤ Negotiated exclusive license to key UC Berkeley - Solgaard patents and brought in first commercial customers, after supplying key critical component for optical switching device. ➤ Made telecom history by enabling the world’s first all-optical network with OMA's revolutionary WSS - Wavelength Selective Switch.

➤ Led strategic partnerships and business development for MEMS division and marketed active and passive MEMS/sensor components as well as foundry processes. ➤ Developed and implemented strategic plan leading to multiple OEM supplier agreements, strategic alliances, and IP licensing deals.

As Founder & CEO, I created the first web-based E commerce and Knowledge Management Portal for use in the semiconductor industry. I secured millions in successful seed and Series A financing, as well as business from major customers in the USA, Europe and Japan, and grew the company to 35 employees, before the company was acquired by Toshiba Corporation of Japan.
