Larry Waranch is a founding partner of Waranch & Brown, LLC., a medical malpractice defense law firm located in Timonium, MD. As an AV rated trial lawyer, he has litigated serious cases of alleged medical negligence, and high exposure claims of product liability, automobile negligence and premises liability, for over 35 years. He has tried numerous jury trials in the State and Federal Courts and has argued appellate cases at all levels of the Maryland Courts. He has represented physicians of many different specialties in a wide variety of licensure and credentialing matters.Mr. Waranch holds the prestigious title of National Counsel to the Podiatry Insurance Company of America (PICA). He is one of two lawyers nationally, called on to represent podiatrists in medical malpractice and licensure matters throughout the United States. In addition to this exclusive role, Mr. Waranch is also National Advisor to PICA, representing the organization in legal cases throughout the nation as well as advising PICA on coverage issues.Mr. Waranch has also had the honor of being selected as a Medical Malpractice “Super Lawyer” from years 2011 through 2015, as well as being an elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In addition, Mr. Waranch served as Chairman of the Governor’s Executive Advisory Council Task Force on Automobile Liability Insurance as well as Chairman of the Baltimore City Task Force on Food and Hunger.
