The Bauer Media Group is a family-owned media company headquartered in Germany, with very strong market penetration across Europe.In my role, I am involved in the implementation and further development of the (transformation) strategy on Group level, to further diversify revenue sources and decrease dependency on single Business Areas. This includes projects with Group-focus (e.g., Capital allocation, Corporate Venturing) and Business Area specific challenges. Generally, my main focus is on business development and operational excellence projects within (digital) growth areas. I am e.g., leading the group-wide AI project to ensure our more than 10,000 employees have proper education, incentivization and guardrails when engaging with generative AI. In this role I am also ensuring we do not only identify opportunities in gen AI across the Group, but also leverage them at scale.
