Information Warfare Training Group is tasked with providing all Information Warfare training to the fleet at a unit level. To include Operational Security, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, Cyber, Communications, and Space. The Mission Area Director is overall responsible for creating a standard process and integrating that training into the fleet. As the deputy/master scheduler I help with all aspects of external customer engagement and internal coordination of all mission’s areas.

Navy

Navy Red Team's primary task is to emulate a sophisticated Cyber Opposing Force (OPFOR), to conduct vulnerability assessments in support of Naval exercises. Navy Red Team also supports assessments for the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation during Joint exercises, as well as, Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force during assessments of Navy systems during operational testing.As a leader for the Navy’s Cyber Red Team (NRT), filled the roles of Navy Red Team Director, Deputy, and the Program of Record supervisor. Involved in all aspects of the 80-person team, to include operations planning, scheduling, execution, readiness, training, funding, and personnel management. Led initiative to enhance the Navy Red Team training program resulting in a 55% increase in cybersecurity workforce readiness; identified shortcomings in established training program, developed a proposal to reprioritize training and obtained a $125K increase in annual funding.Represented Navy Red Team at multiple working groups hosted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to support the development of training standards for all DoD Red Teams.As a certified DOD Red Team voting member, supported multiple DOD Red Teams re-certifications. Developed and implemented a Plan of Action and Milestones for two new operational capabilities for Navy Red Team, in preparations for the team’s NSA recertifying event. Identified a need and developed a comprehensive budget proposal for Navy Red Team funding requirements, leading to a $2.2 million increase in annual funding. Developed Standing Ground Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Test Plans, and Memorandums of Agreements for customers. These documents helped provide guidance which helped reduce risk during cyber operations on line Navy and DOD networks.

Responsible for all aspects of catapult maintenance and operation, as well as Arresting Gear operation, settings, and monitoring of landing area deck status.As a Catapult and Recovery Manager, worked as a leader on the flight deck and contributed to over 8500 safe launch and recovery of aircraft during deployment. Managed the Air Department training program; responsible for scheduling and tracking training requirements for 350 qualification positions ensuring attendance of Air Department personnel to 250 training schools. Administration Manager for the Air Department, responsible for record keeping and tracking of over 600 personnel in leading up to and during a nine-month deployment.

Atsugi, Japan

Operational Planning Officer who link strategic goals and objectives to tactical goals and objectives. Lead Korean planning officer for the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) community, worked with key US and Korean stakeholders during the development of multiple operational plans.As the Lead Korean Liaison Officer (LNO) for my community, worked with my Korean counter parts during real world crisis, planned for potential crisis, and planned major collaboration events that involved the senior leadership from our community.As one of the primary Japanese Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft liaisons, collaborated daily to execute operational planning, shared information, and coordinated combined reconnaissance operations. Led coordinator during the Great Eastern Earthquake, leveraged existing inter-department relationships with Japanese counter parts in order to plan and coordinate the shipment of over 60 tons of food, water, and critical supplies to affected regions.

As the head of the Aviation Warfare (AW) division, led over 30 personnel in preparations for a combat deployment. Managed all administrative, medical, and training requirements prior to, and daily operations for AW personnel.As a Tactical Coordinator, managed the aircraft’s tactical personnel and aircraft systems during combat air crew missions. Acted as the navigation and communications lead for a combat air crew during over land Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions in the Fifth Fleet area of operations. Provided time critical intelligence to ground forces and supported anti-piracy operations.As the Legal Officer, provided legal counsel to over 360 squadron personnel.As Public Affairs Officer, authored 11 articles that were published in Navy publications.Assistant Officer in Charge during a detachment supporting a Carrier Strike Group’s Sustainment Exercise. Managed 24 maintenance person and four Combat Air Crews resulting in a 100% mission completion rate and achieving all readiness and training goals.
