ArcSight became the undisputed leader in the SIM/SIEM category, went public and was acquired by HP for $1.5 Billion• Established and managed key strategic relationship with IBM, Cisco, HP OpenView, Sun, Oracle, McAfee, PWC and Deloitte both from a technical as well as a co-marketing perspective, working tightly with ArcSight’s direct sales force. This included the use of the entire gamut of joint marketing tools (webinars, luncheons, etc.)• Secured technical relationships with a market leading 70 IT security companies within 18 months enabling ArcSight to integrate with over 100 different security and networking products.• Acted as the product manager of ArcSight’s SmartAgent suite, compiling MRDs, PRDs, data sheets and briefed the sales force on the SmartAgents capabilities.• Launched ArcSight’s Enterprise Security Alliance (ESA) to maximize the lead generation potential from technical alliances. Responsible for ESA trade shows during ArcSight's user conferences including sponsoring revenue. • Program managed the selection of 3rd party technologies for “in-licensing” in the pre-revenue phase reporting to the CTO, incl. all contract and licensing negotiations.
