I work as a consultant and have many years of experience in working with information modeling, both linked to business development and to requirements work. I am also a trainer and responsible for the course "Informationsmodellering" in collaboration with Dataföreningen Kompetens.I help all types of organizations understand, structure, analyze, visualize and communicate the logical information needs of the business. It can be about finding out which products, customers and personal data are in the business, how the business is working with them, or even concepts and names in data, for example, managing master data or business intelligence. Information models play a central role in this work as these create value both at overall architectural level and, for example, requirements in connection with the development of IT support. The work of information models also leads to an increased understanding that information is a common resource.By highlighting and analyzing an activity from an information perspective, I and IRM contribute to creating more efficient and accurate information management, which in turn contributes to a more efficient operation.
