Market professional with over 20+ years of experience managing equity derivatives risk and analyzing markets using a systematic perspective.Currently I am a Portfolio Manager in New York City at Teilinger Capital, a division of Vitol Inc, where I manage multiple systematic strategies trading liquid derivatives markets.My career has spanned both the sell-side and buy-side, covering single stock and index options trading books ranging from flow to corporate equity derivatives. In addition to standard volatility risk and gap-risk position management, I have navigated other complex issues such as regulatory risk, funding optimization, and resource utilization constraints. Prior to Teilinger Capital I held various book-running and trading management roles at Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas.My interest in systematic trading began at the University of Pennsylvania where I created the K-ratio performance metric, an alternative reward to risk measure used across the industry to this day. I have written papers that span a range of topics including portfolio construction, optimal leverage in the presence of skew and kurtosis, replication of CTA benchmarks, and other subjects.
