Primary responsibilities include producing patient service line reports, development of the budget for two hospitals, productivity software maintenance and providing training to others. I frequently employ Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to make Excel spreadsheets more efficient and user friendly. I also use Microsoft Access regularly.My role allows me to work with local finance team members, finance team members at other facilities and at our corporate headquarters. In addition, I commonly work with clinical managers and directors to help them make strategic decisions regarding departmental expenses, patient service lines and employee productivity.
