My primary project was a 60-day bus substitution of Metro service in the Twin Peaks Tunnel affecting 80,000 daily riders to accommodate critical trackway improvements. I had the opportunity to demonstrate a multitude of skills through my work, which included:- Design brand-new SOPs for rail switchbacks at a midroute Metro station, involving personnel roles, boarding procedures, ATO/ATCS and track/signal operation- Assist in design and outreach for our bus bridge service comprising 40+ coaches per day- Train operations staff and senior managers on the revised operating procedures I designed- Design, lead and supervise a plan for 50+ contractor brand ambassadors to provide customer service throughout Metro system during shutdown- Design, lead and execute a wayfinding plan for five rail stations affected by shutdown- Manage Muni's rail and bus service efficiently, from the field and our operations center- Engage with, and serve as an intermediary between our field staff (transit operators, field inspectors) and senior staff (transit planners, system managers)- Engage with our affected customers on a daily basis to gain feedback and insight- Work with stakeholders across this major public works project, from communications, to operations, to contractor crews and understand the millions of moving pieces involved- Produce systematic, detailed reports and briefings for our COO & Director of TransitParticipated in a wide variety of Muni operations support roles:- During a major transit operator shortage, delivered over 150% of transit capacity initially estimated for Outside Lands music festival, providing additional capacity for ~8,000 customers, using a creative shift extension-based service plan.- Designed a Crystal Ball- based simulation to assess train and platform capacity for the UCSF Mission Bay station following the opening of the Chase Center- Masterminded and executed an agency-wide exercise to "hijack" a bus to inform development of S/EOP's
