In a time where death is tabooed like never before, and where existence is something that only a few ponder on in between smartphones and children being put to bed, HamletScenen insists on creating and presenting theatre, that embraces the big questions in life. Besides welcoming guest performances to the stage at HamletScenen, I have produced and directed several in-house productions such as Hamlet in 2017 and Richard III in 2019. Show less

As a dramatist, I have written several dramas, including Shakespeare Was Here, Hamlet Familiens Juleshow and Hamlets Time. I have also produced several performances such as Hamlet’s Labyrinth, King Lear, Romeo & Juliet and Othello.

I have organised festivals in collaboration with Donmar Warehouse, Shakespeare’s Globe, Propeller Company, Cheek by Jowl, Schaubühne Berlin, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Sakurama Group Japan and Shanghai Peking Opera.

During a period of 25+ years, I have directed theatre and stage performances such as Richard III and Hamlet twice at Shakespeare Festival, Elsinore Castle as well as Magic Flute at Opera Ystad.

For more than 25 years, I have developed and executed communications and change management projects for various companies and organizations, including PwC, DSB, and Novo Nordisk. In this connection, I also work as a concept developer, copywriter, facilitator and course leader.

I was Chairman for the Cultural Organisation in Elsinore, an organisation under Helsingør Municipality working with business services and cultural attraction development.

As CEO and Artistic Director of HamletScenen, I was part of the board for 3 years. Vækst & Viden is an organisation under Helsingør Municipality working with business services and attraction development.

I lectured at Center of Performance Design focusing on analysis, development and management of events, festivals, exhibitions and conferences.

I taught students in experience design; a concept focused around designers working together with companies visualising new product strategies.

I developed a performance about nanoscience based on a cooperation with nanoscientist. The performance was shown at several places in Denmark and was made for public discussion and new knowledge.

I coached PhD students from from all institutions of Denmark in script work and powerful interpersonel communication.
