At the University of Helsinki, my role as a Teacher Assistant involved shaping the data science capabilities of students, a task I approached with dedication and a commitment to educational excellence. The curriculum I supported, rich in open data principles, was delivered through dynamic teaching methods, and bolstered by my applied statistics background from the University of Colombo.Transitioning seamlessly, my expertise contributed to the National Statistical Office's ICT usage project, where we analyzed data to inform public health and tech decision-making. This experience, coupled with my proficiency in statistical software and quality assurance, underscores my goal to positively impact data-driven strategies in societal sectors.
