Simulation and Test Engineering (STE)Project Engineer in the STE group working on the test equipment development for the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Regional Jet (MRJ) program. Responsible for coordinating the initial cost estimates for the test set-ups, determine the schedule of the various test equipment developments, and establishing a budget for these developments.Project Engineer for the Boeing 787 aircraft Electric Model Training Simulator. This training simulator is used by the pilots, crew, and repair personnel. It has the capabilities to simulate the Boeing 787 Electrical Power System including engines, generators, contactors, switches, and other critical components of the 787 electric power systems. One of the main functions of the simulator is it makes it possible to simulate malfunctions in the electrical power system for training purposes. Responsibilities include, tracking and reporting status, earned value tracking, schedule progress reporting, and problem reporting, to both Hamilton Sundstrand management and the customer (Boeing). This program was delivered on schedule and slightly above budget.Contributed as a Project Engineer to coordinate the technical resources in the test case scripting effort to fully exercise the Power Transfer/Load Management functions of the Boeing 787 "Dream liner". This was in preparation of the Boeing 787 First Flight. The scripts were used in a hardware lab environment and in a simulation environment to ensure the aircraft is safe for first flight.
