Editor In Chief Of We Love Balaton And We Love Hungary Travel Guides

The editorial team of online magazines We Love Budapest and We Love Balaton created print travel guides as well. Three different guides were published both in Hungarian and in English language: We Love Budapest, We Love Balaton and We Love Hungary. The first guides were released in 2018 Spring. A new edition came out in 2018 Winter, then in 2019 Summer another set of guides followed. Every set of guidebooks were printed in 150,000 copies, distributed nationwide for free.- Created the concept, the content structure and edited the content of the print travel guides about Lake Balaton and 6 Hungarian touristic regions- Both guidebooks were roughly 200 pages long, A5 format- Researched Hungary’s most important sights and hidden gems. Organized study trips to several destinations- Set up a network among local journalists and photographers in 6 regions of Hungary in order to involve locals in the creative process- Organized photoshoots all across the country to provide excellent photo materials for the guidebook- Managed the process pf translating the guidebooks from Hungarian to English language- Organized the nationwide distribution with the help of an external partnerThe guides are available here: https://issuu.com/welovebalaton
