Served as national liaison/advocate of Executive Directors and provided direct oversight and management of the City Year Sites located in Boston, MA; Columbia, S.C.; Miami, FL; New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA. Coached and supported Executive Directors in the development and implementation of organizational strategies -- ensuring that each site met and/or exceeded quarterly performance goals in fiscal management, board development, fundraising, service impact and staff/corps member management/development. Facilitated training sessions for site leadership and mid-management staff as needed in partnership with Executive Director.

Managed City Year Columbia, a site comprised of eight staff members and 25 corps members with an 800k annual budget and 1 million dollar fundraising goal– successfully reestablishing the local organization as viable and relevant in South Carolina. Stabilized and strategically positioned a site deemed for closure by reengaging local advisory board members and community stakeholders in long-term vision of City Year Columbia and establishing a formal funding partnership with local school district in 15 year history of site.

Managed and coordinated Customized Technical Assistance Grant (CTA) applications of faith/community-based organizations. Provided oversight of the CTA consultant pool; included issuing RFQ as necessary and reviewing consultant applications. Facilitated the process and design of the first edition of the High Risk Resource Guide in partnership with the Boston Ten Point Coalition and other Boston agencies and youth workers. Managed provision of technical assistance services to grantees by consultants, in accordance with technical assistance work plans, including monthly reports, telephone check-in with consultants and grantees.
