Laura Baum is a public health analyst in RTI International’s Center for Health Policy Science and Tobacco Research. She conducts data collection, management, analysis, and reports on qualitative research. Her professional experience in public health research includes work on prevention research, program evaluation, social media analysis, social marketing, sustainable cities, the social determinants of health, and community health promotion. Her prior experience includes community-based participatory research and human rights engagement and reporting. In addition to her qualitative data experience, she has experience in GIS analysis, survey development and analysis, and is conversant in using quantitative datasets to complement qualitative findings.
