Lead projects from inception through completion, collaborating across departments to coalesce needed resources to achieve goals. Coordinate logistics, monitor progress, manage budget, ensure key milestones are met, manage scope creep and verify project tasks and objectives are achieved. Reconcile vendor contracts and invoices and archive documentation. Major projects include: • Data Center Rebuild: Overhaul of antiquated data center. Project resulted in the consolidation and virtualization of >25 stand-alone tower servers into 3 efficient, rack-mount servers and modernized core network connectivity which enabled each IDF to directly connect via fiber, all with minimal downtime. • House Chamber Voting System: $300,000 project to revamp video display boards, request to speak and voting systems for the House Chamber utilized by 100 members. Eliminated need for on-going service contract, saving ~$24,000/yr. in maintenance costs. • Legislature Live Streaming: $500,000 project to enable live streaming video from House and Senate chambers. Installed Ross video system including video control room, 120x120 router, 2 Carbonite switchers, 2 XPression graphics systems, 2 Lighting Control systems and 10 HD cameras. • Email and Domain Migration: Assumed lead of stalled migration project. Performed audit of Microsoft licensing to true-up and establish Microsoft contracts for >30 servers, 500 desktops and users. Collaborated with multiple third-party consultants to revamp Active Directory, clean up >1200 accounts and security groups and build infrastructure to enable cloud connectivity utilizing ADFS. Transitioned 500 users’ POP3 email to O365 Exchange and resolved issues unique to each of the users to enable O365 connectivity and successful migration of mailboxes.

• Evaluate IT systems for security threats and establish protocols for identifying and neutralizing threats. Develop and maintain business contingency plans including: Continuity of Operations, IT Contingency, Disaster Recovery and Pandemic. • Assess the information created, acquired, or utilized by each division within organization, classify by sensitivity, rate for criticality and perform a risk assessment. • Author and maintain IT security, confidentiality, and privacy policies and related forms to ensure acceptable use of IT resources.

Manage day-to-day logistics of company facilities. Develop system documentation and standard operating procedures for facility operations and IT infrastructure. Assist with purchasing, managing contracts, and reconciliation of invoices. Produce and distribute company-wide communications for system changes, outages or training. Special projects include:• Inventory Audit: Performed inventory audit and reconciliation of more than 800 assets. Created data file and coordinated the upload of asset data into new system. • Office Space Remodels: Designed and remodeled office spaces on three occasions: installed cabinetry, facilitated the procurement and installation of cubicle furniture and industrial shelving and implemented a storage solution for IT equipment.• Division Informational Materials: Authored informational materials promoting department and services offered to educate customers on the availability and use of IT resources.
