Prior to the acquisition by CoStar Group, I was third in command in my position with Off Campus Partners. As Director of Operations, I supervised the Accounting Manager, and oversaw all things financial for the company. I hired all the Customer Support team members and managed their training, so that they were aware of the important role they played in giving our customers the best experience possible while using our websites. I also worked one on one with our 6 member sales team to guide them in facilitating contract negotiations and guaranteed renewals of those contracts. I developed and executed strategic changes to company practices, cultivating growth and streamlining processes.

I was hired by Off Campus Partners when it was a start up with only 4 employees. The owner entrusted me with overseeing all the general accounting functions, including AP, AR, JE's and general ledger management. I also reconciled all bank accounts, credit card statements and computed all revenue share payments to the universities with whom we partnered. I created and streamlined all the accounting processes, as there were none in place when I joined the company. Those processes were used continuously until the sale of the company to CoStar. My goal was to maximize profits for the company, while adhering to the pertinent needs of the employees.

As Accounting Manager for Red Light Management, I was responsible for overseeing the bank account reconciliations and payroll entries for six restaurants and 1 brewery. I analyzed sales and expenses and suggested ways to to increase profits for each entity.
