•Plan numerous conventions and events in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines and high expectations. •Responsible for handling all groups from start to finish. This includes travel arrangements, gifts, guestrooms, vendor contracts, agendas and meeting set ups. The groups include Delegation visits, Film/TV productions, incentive trips, high-level executive meetings and large conferences. These groups range from 100 to 2000 attendees with a range of budgets that are creatively maintained. •Oversee a team of 10 managers and 3 coordinators, providing constant coaching and mentoring •Negotiate contracts with local and international vendors to ensure budgets are met. These include transportation companies, destination management companies, entertainment companies and audio visual.
