Consider this, Energy Star labelled LED lamps use a 1/4 of the electricity that an incandescent/halogen lamp uses with comparable brightness and substantial longer life. So a company stands to save money on their day-to-day lighting. Not to mention the ecological benefits; a building’s carbon footprint from lighting can be reduced by 85% by retrofitting all incandescent/halogen lamps for new LEDs. Now change like that can make some business owners, rightfully so, a little hesitant. But take this recent order: a $50K exterior LED retrofit that was planned, designed, and implemented over 18 months, working with the fixture manufacturer, designer, property manager, electrical contractor, and general contractor. The whole process went smoothly and was professionally handled on all sides.
