Foster Care Training & Community Resource Coordinator

I support the foster care team through training and facilitating the completion of our outcome assessment tool for the children in our program. I utilize the data collected from the assessment tool and collaborate with the support workers to create an action plan for the individuals we serve, ensuring that the plan addresses behavioural, developmental, and social/emotional needs and individual strengths; while maintaining a trauma-informed lens. I support the foster parents through the process of obtaining and maintaining their foster home license. I create and source opportunities for training and support for the foster parents that are directly linked to the needs of the children in their care. My passion for outcomes and enriching programs through data-informed decision-making led to the expansion of my role to include outcomes data, tracking and analysis. As such, I am responsible for supporting the foster care supervisor to collect, analyze and summarize the data used to report program outcomes to our stakeholders.
