Laura is a multidisciplinary artist that explores concepts of identity, culture, and possibilities of the mind. Her projects take pride with using in-depth research to inform design solutions and uses research as a approach to design. Specialty areas of interest in critical theory and philosophy. Her studio “Burning Bush” experiments with natural materials to make unconventional floral sculptures and arrangements. Burning Bush seeks to mediate our living experience with our natural world by allowing consumers the opportunity to reimagine their relationship with nature. With education focusing on environmental design and art history, her studio dedicates its practice to researching, sourcing and developing unique products for community.
