The Alzheimer's Association, Utah Chapter, is a voluntary health organization working to carry out the mission of creating a world without Alzheimer’s. Functionally, the organization works to provide care and support for all affected by the disease; generate concern and awareness for Alzheimer’s and related dementia; enhance and promote research; advocate for public policy in support of the mission, and generate public support to fund the operations.Laura's position will provide management level leadership for the development, oversight and execution of diversified comprehensive development plan in accordance with Association’s FY16-FY18 strategic plan.

I am responsible for the fund-raising and marketing programs at IVUmed. This includes a major gift strategy, planned and estate giving capabilities, enhancing fund-raising events, bolstering annual gifts, developing social media fundraising campaigns, and overall management of the development program. In addition, I oversee the social marketing of IVUmed, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. Working in conjunction with our program managers, I strive to ensure that our myriad workshops around the world are brought to the attention of the general public.IVUmed is committed to making quality urological care available to people worldwide. In fulfilling this mission, IVUmed provides medical and surgical education to physicians and nurses and treatment to thousands of children and adults. I will be working to gain financial support for our efforts through major and annual gifts, social marketing strategies and planned and estate giving.
