A Human Resources professional with over 25 years experience in both generalist and specialist roles. I have extensive experience working with managers to coach and guide them in all aspects of people management. I ensure I always develop positive working relationships with managers enabling them to approach me for advice regarding a proposed approach and am trusted to provide a response which is pragmatic and fair.I regularly receive positive feedback from colleagues at all levels regarding my team working. I have a natural ability to begin discussing issues in a positive way and encourage others to do the same. I am willing to admit when I could have approached a matter in a different way, and I feel this behaviour demonstrates genuineness, helping build trust among both team members and stakeholders.In previous roles, I have worked in sectors including Housing, Care, Financial Services and Defense. Currently employed by EDF Energy, working across all business areas including nuclear generation, customers and renewable energy, supporting the operational running of Employee Relations cases and contributing to the successful implementation of business and people plans. I strategically partner with the business to deliver business plan objectives, running leadership development workshops to managers. I work in partnership with managers and key stakeholders, liaising with the corporate functions, Shared Services and other HR Specialists to provide HR support to a variety of business areas. I am CIPD qualified and an Associate member of the CIPD.
