I have worked in various different roles relating to international trade from Export Administrator at Prestigious Textiles, to most recently Senior Export Advisor at Chamber International. My interest in international trade began whilst at university where I studied French and Hispanic studies at the University of Sheffield and then later I completed a Masters 1 in Applied Foreign Languages and International Business at the University of La Rochelle. In my role as EEN Project Coordinator/Advisor, I undertook reviews to assess businesses' capacity and requirements for working in international markets. I also provided support with internatonalisation and carried out market entry research. In my previous role as International Trade Administrator at Brightfinch, I deliver training courses on a number of customs related areas and on topics such as rules of origin, export documentation and customs procedures. I complete MSS Customs data analysis on a monthly basis and I provide support on customs consultancy projects such as Inward Processing, Temporary Admission, WOWGR applications etc.I have recently joined the team at CCI Hauts de France, based in Lille, France and I will be coordinating the "Accelereteur Export" project which provides mentoring from International advisors and experienced professionals within the international environment. The selected participants will receive guidance on their Export business plan, market research and training in export regulations and procedures. At the end of the project, there will be an opportunity to put this into practice during a learning mission overseas to prospect new partners.
