I love providing English Support, and being part of the programs that reach so many wonderful people, who have made a big impact upon my life. Skeena Diversity is a place of possibilities, where the relaxed atmosphere welcomes conversation, and a positive attitude and a smile allow exciting things to develop.

A wonderful 1 month contract that allowed me to meet and teach a group of International Students from Mexico, and introduce them to our wonderful community of Terrace.

The over-riding vision of Spruce Moose Studios is based on the phrase “Imagine the Possibilities”. It is a place a creative self-expression, play, and learning through the arts. Art is a fluid experience involving the expression of imagination and is a process of exploration, discovery, problem-solving, and decision making. We offer services for all ages, providing an atmosphere that allows for exploration, growth, relaxation, renewal, and healing through creativity, community, and fun.Our licensed Nursery Arts Program (3-5 years) runs twice daily Monday through Thursday, September through June, from 9 - 11:30 am or 12:15 - 2:45 pm. These art classes were specifically designed to be age appropriate and we will explore a weekly theme using a different art form daily - traditional art supplies on Monday, Imagination and story-telling on Tuesdays, Dress-up drama on Wednesdays, and Rhythm, music and moves on Thursdays. Our licensed School-age group care (age 6-12) encompasses our Pro-D day sessions and week-long camps, as well as after-school art classes. Monday's class is Basic Drawing, Tuesday is Primarily Painting, Wednesday's class is Mixed Media, and on Thursdays we explore Sculpting and 3D Construction. We offer a Teen-time program and a Youth Writing Program for youth aged 12-18.For adults, we offer Crafting Project Sessions on Thursday evenings, and as a certified Master Health and Wellness Coach, I offer our Discovery Works sessions on Tuesday nights, covering topics such as Intuitive Awareness, Mindfulness, Journaling, and more. Personal coaching is also possible.Last but not least, we also offer Theme Parties for all ages, offer Costume Rentals from the Spruce Moose Costume Closet, and although we have removed our photography studio from services offered at this time, may book Photo marathons occasionally.

I draft letters, invoices, agendas, meeting minutes, and other correspondence. Maintain SSC Admin files, maintain contact lists, create monthly SSC Newsletters, and Track Cadet Fundreaising efforts, per activity. I maintain the Sponsoring Society Facebook page, research fundraising opportunities, generate fundraising contacts and materials, and spearhead special event planning. I am also in charge of the Effective Speaking program for the Squadron.

Instructional design using adult learning principles that integrate interactive concepts and activities to encourage knowledge application and skill development. I ensure the instructional integrity of training projects through systematic design and clear writing of scripts, narratives, on-screen text, and selection of content/resources. I also revises and update current training materials according to system, design, and policy/procedure changes. I work with the team's Project Manager, Training Manager, Experts, Instruction Advisers, and other Instructional designers to ensure goals, objectives, and deadlines are met. I attend to the development and/or placement of text, images, graphics, and other media for presentations. I review and provide feedback on material developed by other team members, as they do for me. I deliver content in 'Train the Trainer' sessions, and am comfortable and confident in delivering excellent training materials, regardless of the topic or my previous level of experience or knowledge of it. I pride myself in creating quality interactive training.

Portable theme party business offers services for children's birthday parties. Theme choices for adults as well. We bring painted backdrops to set the ambiance, dress in costumes, bring costumes for the kids, and create memories through fantasy and fun! I paint the backdrops, create the costumes, write character worker roles and loose scripts, develop thematic games, activities, workbooks, and props and facilitate all aspects of the parties - from idea to expressed delight. I also offer a photography service, so parents can enjoy the party to it's fullest, and not be stuck behind the lense of thier own cameras.

Worked in classrooms Kinderdergarten through grade 12; specialized in Behavior Interventions and Social Skills Training. Consulted with school counselor, behavior specialist, school psychologist, parents, school assessment teacher, and regular classroom teachers. I gathered, synthesized, and implemented information contributed into comprehensive skill development programs for my students.

Developed priorities; created and implemented plans, coordinated volunteers and fundraising initiatives, allocated resources, and ensured follow through to evaluation of activities and procedures.
