Before starting my aviation journey, I proudly served 13 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Artillery soldier. In 2015, I co-founded Canadian non-profit organization, Elevate Aviation and have since overseen all its projects, daily operations, and finances to advance our mission of helping women and underrepresented groups thrive and success through careers in aviation. It's been a privilege to help transform our team from a dedicated volunteer group into a multi-million dollar national organization in under nine years. Additionally, I am an IFR Air Traffic Controller with NAV CANADA where I work high level airspace in Northern Canada. In this role I am also actively involved in training the next generation of controllers. In 2023 I was honored with a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal and featured in Edify Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 class. I was also previously acknowledged by Wings Magazine as a Top 20 under 40 award recipient in 2019. Most recently announced as a Northern Lights Aero Foundation Elsie Award recipient for 2024 in their Business category.
