Experienced client-facing leader who manages large national accounts with specialty and infused medications under the medical plan. I have responsibility for oversight of strategy development, affordability, prioritization and management of key client contracts related to the drug pipeline and specialty medications. I have the pleasure of working and collaborating with a number of team members on various medical, clinical teams, sales teams, medical directors, and consultants. I have a very strong clinical background as a former Director for Clinical Services at a Level 2 trauma center where I worked very closely with senior hospital executives as well as led a number of physician committees, and implemented numerous clinical programs. For 5 years, I worked exclusively for a group of physicians in a physician owned outpatient oncology clinic where I managed oncology protocols. Additionally, I have extensive medical writing/editing experience as a consultant for ATI (Assessment Technology Institute). I then had the pleasure of successfully leading the Lenexa, KS specialty pharmacy as one of the fastest growing and top performing pharmacies among the regional specialty pharmacies. There, I work closely with the Industry Relations team, Clinical Management Team, NPS Ambassador Group, recently graduated from UHG’s Emerging Leader Program, and have extensive knowledge and practical hands on experience with ACHC and URAC accrediting bodies. What I have enjoyed the most is success via building strong relationships and bridges with sales, contracting, and clinical teams that resulted in improved processes, programs, and efficiencies for patients while helping patients navigate the complex web of a large company. I was also humbled to be awarded the 2016 Integrity Award.
