Responsible for complete Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) oversight.Successful transition of MedNax Health Solutions Anesthesia Division as part of NAPA acquisition during Covid-19 pandemic, including change management, resource allocation, and consolidation of processes.Migrated central business office (CBO) activities and staff into remote work environment.Achieved key performance indicators (KPIs): reduction in AR days and aged AR, while increasing cash collections.

Responsible for overall RCM operational functions for one of the company's largest CBO located in South Florida. Division includes approximately13 practices spanning 3 states, more than 1,000 anesthesiologist and advanced practitioners caring for 500K patients annually. Also responsible for oversight of 151 staff, and annual collections of $292 million.

As a member of the turnaround team, helped engineer revenue cycle process for the organization. Developed, implemented and managed the CBO, consisting of its centerpiece, Jackson Memorial Hospital (1500 beds); 12 primary care centers and two primary care centers and 2 primary care mobile vans; 2 long term care nursing facilities; 6 Corrections Health Service clinics; a network of mental health facilities; Holtz Children's Hospital, Jackson Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Jackson North Medical and Jackson South Community Hospital. Implemented complete system conversion of all Revenue Cycle information systems in nine months. Developed, implemented, and managed organizations revenue integrity program.

Responsible for oversight of patient access and business office functions. Served as onsite liaison between Regional Business Office and the organization. Actively participated in corporate compliance and conducted training sessions on Medicare and Medicaid regulatory issues, including proper coding and billing laboratory services, utilization and denials. Served on organization's compliance oversight committee.

Responsible for management of accounts receivables activities for a 429-Bed acute care hospital. Direct oversight of 48 FTEs and 4 Supervisors for the following departments: insurance verification, inpatient and outpatient billing and collections, and financial assistance (Medicaid Eligibility program). Primary liaison to managed care contracting. Also lead system conversion implementation without increasing AR days.
