I began exploring the human body and healing as a Volunteer EMT Intermediate with Currituck County. I continued on as a Volunteer Firefighter and Fire Safety Coordinator and Educator, I became a Certified Massage Therapist. I found the internal practices and healing aspects of being a body worker very inspiring and enlightening. I began practicing Yoga in 2004 to maintain strength and stability for doing my job. Then following an injury, I used a very gentle Yoga practice to heal myself. This is when I knew Yoga was a gift that I could not keep to myself. I became very motivated to have a practice strong enough to share. I receive my 240 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Diploma with Honors in 2009. Began Soul Intrigue Yoga in 2013. This is more than a business. This is an expression of sharing the immeasurable value that Yoga offers to all. I teach to learn and celebrate life's challenges and lessons as much if not more than the victories or successes. I embrace the gift of being able to promote health, wellness, strength, and self acceptance.
