I am responsible for providing quotations and processing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for our customers. I was part of a team providing customer service and technical support for customers. I was first point of contact for new and current customers, answering queries and taking orders via phone calls, email and webchat. Building initial relationships with new alarm users was key to this role as helping to support existing customers. In addition, I made out bound calls to ensure customer records were up to date and worked in credit control.

I returned for the second year of the project examining the effectiveness of providing supplementary feeding for turtle doves. I liaised with land owners, provided advice, performed bird surveys and data processing, communicated results to a variety of audiences and consulted for a BBC television programme.

I was a field worker during the winter season, surveying, catching and processing birds as part of a long term research project. In addition I was responsible for the post field work administration and updating the project database.

I worked on the European Red List for Birds, collating, synthesising and summarising information on to complete data fields and text accounts for European Bird Species. I liaised with colleagues to help deliver completed information within deadlines.

I managed the RSPB scientific publication library. Through staff and online searches I kept the publication library current and used it to provide information on RSPB scientific output. I also managed and edited content on the RSPB Centre for Conservation ensuring it was correct and up-to-date.

I worked as part of a team investigating the effects of landscape features on the predation of wader nests in East Anglia. During field work I was required to liaise with landowners, find nests, and conduct vegetation surveys, small mammal surveys and predator monitoring. I also performed data entry and processing

I was part of a team performing boat based tern surveys on an offshore wind farm as well as coastal tern surveys for the JNCC. In addition I worked in the company office entering data and quality checking reports.

Working on the Seychelles Warbler Project, I assisted in the post-translocation monitoring of both a founding population of Seychelles warblers and the source population. This involved studying individual birds and their behaviour to establish relationships and territories as well as some mist-netting to ring and bleed birds. I also entered data into the long-term database.

I assisted on a NERC funded research project examining how environmental changes affect outcomes of plant-pathogen interactions by obtaining measures of fitness (by threshing, weighing and counting seeds) and to finalise/manage the database for the project.
