Quadriga Contracts is a specialist heritage restoration contractor carrying out work across the UK to a variety of historic buildings and structures including those with listed status. Responsible for marketing and communication strategies to engage company stakeholders, increase brand awareness and offer value to our existing and prospective clients. I am responsible for producing EOIs and PQQs, liaising with and coordinating staff of all levels, health and safety consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and our clients to produce high quality submissions within agreed timescales.Alongside the Commercial Director, I run the Heritage and Conservation Networking Group which aims to develop knowledge of the heritage and conservation sector. We host networking events every month in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds with guest speakers presenting on a variety of topics relating to the conservation, preservation and restoration of our built heritage. I visit our sites frequently to document historic content, record project progress and gain an in-depth understanding of the on-site processes implemented to restore, repair and conserve the structures.

I was brought into the company as the first in-house marketer and worked closely with the Director. I was responsible for all marketing and engagement strategies and activities both on and offline including but not limited to, writing valuable content for the website and social media, creating email campaigns and liaising with various media outlets and suppliers to secure advertising space.The company is community and socially minded and during my time there I organised and promoted various charity events and fundraisers benefitting the local community. Despite being the only member of the marketing department, I was part of a small but dedicated team working towards common goals. Therefore, my time was spent working both autonomously and with others but always with enthusiasm, initiative and flexibility.

I worked as an Account Executive at an integrated marketing agency based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. My role was integral in the account team, supporting the Account Managers in the development, delivery and review of campaigns for a range of mid-size, blue-chip and international clients, including Confused.com, Chiquita, Müller and Disney. I was involved in many facets of the marketing mix, such as idea generation and project, client and supplier management in conjunction with administrative and financial functions. I was responsible for briefing the creative team and providing client feedback, to ensure that artwork hit the mark every time. As an Account Executive, it was my responsibility to ensure that projects were delivered on time and on budget whilst creating and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and external agencies. I had the opportunity to get involved writing and delivering presentations, including pitches and campaign reports.
