I'm a leader, creator and problem-solver with over a decade of experience in the emerging technology + justice + social impact space. Early in my career, I spent time working with GIS for international development and researching the economics of cities. As a Clinton Fellow, I led editorial/marketing work of a social enterprise in the machine learning space, and I followed that with consulting non-profits on their strategy & communications.At The Engine Room — an organization dedicated to supporting civil society, funders and humanitarian orgs to use data/tech in responsible and effective ways — I held many roles. The last of these was Co-Deputy Director, wherein I directed our communications and research programs and collaborated with senior leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the organization.Now, you can find me leading communications efforts at DevGlobal, working with a diverse team to build communities and implement innovative geospatial approaches to humanitarian work.
