In addition, the role required me to prepare monthly rosters (according to wage budgets), submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to Head Office detailing: sales performance breakdown, marketing initiative evaluations, monitoring and evaluation of weekly goals and store merchandising efforts on weekly sales.

During my final year at Waikato Management School, I was selected to complete the WMS Internship programme (a programme with competitive entry to the top scholars). My internship was with Stretton Group (Annah Stretton, 20 stores nationwide) where I implemented and monitored a new online marketing strategy according to the project brief. I learnt how to develop an online platform of marketing, reach your consumer through a different medium, and implemented SEO initiatives and social media advertisements.
