About Laura Brown

My focus for the past 14 years has been on helping individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities have positive, inclusive experiences. As a special education teacher, I worked in both the public and therapeutic day school settings. Through the years, I realized that to reach this goal, the community needed more information about how to best meet the needs of this growing population. My business, Community Inclusion Consulting, LLC, helps people and places who support children with autism and other developmental disabilities. For Families: I provide support, strategies, and solutions for families who are experiencing overwhelm so that they can have a more relaxed and enjoyable home life. For Businesses: I conduct on-site trainings that are developed specifically to meet the needs of the business/organization, along with creating custom-designed, research-based, visual supports in order for the business to better meet the needs of their patrons. I work with schools, libraries, restaurants, salons, dentists, theaters or other places that families access in their communities. I hope to build a link between home-community-school. If you, or someone you know, could benefit from more guidance in the world of autism, I would love to connect! Please feel free to send me a personalized connection request or email me at, laurab@communityinclusionconsulting.com
