She is one of those people who excels at what she does but doesn't have a need to shout about it or be recognised. So yes, she's very humble. In saying that she is excellent! She excels at so much... ok, where to start!!? Laura and our clients - they loved her!!! Why wouldn't they?! She makes them all feel like they are the 'only one', the special client, yet she's running 10 different projects on the go. Her ability to juggle so many tasks at one time is admirable and not the norm. Laura and her team - she was their leader & friend! She ran a tight ship, yet one that was full of humans not robots, and she recognised the importance of being kind and leading by example. Something that many commented on, was her ability that anything she requested from others, was something she would willingly do herself. And sometimes she did when needed. The team we had, plus all the freelance contractors that Laura would engage displayed such respect, trust, warmth, and loyalty towards Laura and ultimately the company. Laura and her creativity - wow!!!! Any of you lucky enough to see some of her work (most of which is under client confidentiality agreements, so you've not seen the best I guess!!) will know that Laura produces outcomes not just ideas. She has this beautiful nature that invites the vision of clients to be important and part of the process, and they feel connected to the project. With that she can take her own and other's ideas to develop and grow things to be more suitable, more appropriate, on brand, in keeping with the actual vision of the key stakeholders, or simply more creative and bold! Her managerial skills are tight. I myself can jump in and assist those who I see need major help. Laura was never on my radar, as it's a happy camp with all the cogs turning and greased well. She briefs, she does a solid handover, and she maintains control but gives autonomy and trust to those she works with, and she monitors a project as it happens and provides timely updates to all the key people. Her technical skills are up to date and beyond capable. She can out-work any freelancer we ever had, if only we had a few "Laura's" that would have solved everything! She's also a lotta fun!! Such a wonderful personality to be around, to collaborate with, to have the kitchen chats, and be out on social events with! ps: she's a great networker at client events, no flies on her! If you've gotten this far, you may be looking for the hidden secret, the "but" in all of this. Well, sorry to disappoint.. it's a win win for you if you're considering working with Laura!
