As a recent graduate of Monash University with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Pathology and Physiology, I am passionate about applying my knowledge of human biology and disease mechanisms to improve health outcomes. During my studies, I developed a solid foundation in laboratory science, diagnostics, and physiology, with a particular focus on cardiology, pathology, nutrition, and women's health. These areas are of great personal and professional interest to me, and I am eager to explore how advancements in these fields can drive better healthcare solutions.I have also gained valuable hands-on experience through my participation in a research project at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, where I conducted experiments on preserved tissue samples and was involved in the analysis and interpretation of data. This experience deepened my understanding of scientific research methodologies and the importance of accurate data analysis in medical research. Additionally, as an intern at the Redefine Life counselling clinic, I worked within a team to research psychological tools and helped increase the clinic’s efficiency by improving governance and compliance with standards set by the Australian Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. These experiences have strengthened my teamwork, research, and problem-solving skills.In addition to my academic qualifications and research experience, I bring 5 years of hands-on leadership experience from the retail and hospitality sectors, where I held supervisory and store manager roles. This experience has sharpened my skills in team leadership, customer service, and operations management, allowing me to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong focus on achieving goals and improving processes.I am now looking to transition into the healthcare field and begin my professional career in an environment where I can apply my scientific knowledge and leadership abilities. I am open to opportunities in clinical settings, medical research, or laboratory environments, where I can contribute to improving patient care and outcomes. My goal is to work with healthcare teams to make a meaningful impact, and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in this field.
