In-depth research and writing services summarizing findings of medical and rehabilitation treatment professionals. Creation of focused reports advocating for rehabilitation treatment, referrals, or equipment, as recommended by the case manager. Provided these small-business clients with organizational spreadsheet tools and business processes for storing timesheets, daily charting, and billing purposes.

Custom optical layer designer for 10 and 40Gbps regional and long-haul DWDM systems. Optimized cost and performance of optical layer designs. Leveraged technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills to work with engineering and sales teams to find solutions that met customer's day one and future network requirements while respecting cost and installation limitations. Extensive involvement in optical layer modelling tool creation and verification. These tools began as Matlab models requiring highly skilled users, and progressed to an optical layer design tool used by global sales engineering teams to design customer networks. Provided input and feedback on tool algorithms, functionality, and user interface. Created and taught optical layer fundamentals and optical link design training courses to introduce these tools in multiple Nortel locations. Trained and supported systems engineering and sales engineering teams in their use of new tools.
