In this role, I provide on-site technical support to the Boeing Company, with the responsibility to address quality or customer concerns raised during the engine build up, installation, and test on new production aircraft. As the GEnx-1B and GEnx-2B engine program leader, I have supported over 175 deliveries to 35 different airline customers. Additionally, I collaborate with Boeing to proactively develop projects to reduce engine interventions, maintaining on time delivery goals.Notable Accomplishments & Projects:- Exceeded the goal of 10% reduction of both quality and customer satisfaction interventions, achieving a 26% and 15% reduction from 2016 levels, respectively, in these areas.- Managed the planning, execution, and closure of 10 quality escapes in 2017, affecting 92 engines, with zero impact to on time delivery. - Identified the need to improve reporting consistency and data reliability in the quality reporting tool used across Boeing supported sites. Established a cross-function team involving representatives from field service, customer quality, IT, and finance to develop new features and ‘human-proof’ data inputs to meet these objectives. - Established a new warehouse location to house inventory for GE wide-body programs in Everett. This involved rewriting the operating & quality procedures governing warehouse operations, preparing for and successfully passing a FAA audit, and establishing a new inventory management system (Salesforce).- Worked collaboratively to reduce obsolete and superseded hardware from the on-site warehouse, resulting in the elimination of $2.3MM in holding inventory in 2016. This included establishing a return process to continue the elimination of unnecessary inventory stored locally.- Lead on-going activities such as audit preparation, SOP maintenance and employee training in order to maintain the PC108 certification of local GE warehouses
