Project People is a global ICT & Telecoms Recruitment Company, operating in the UK, EU, and USA, who work with a number of well-known clients.In my role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I work mainly into our large Telecoms accounts to fill both contract and permanent vacancies.My role is a generalist position, where I am responsible for recruiting for vacancies within a number of areas, including Marketing (Brand / Digital) Commercial, Administration, Service Management & Finance.

Huawei is a multinational Chinese Telecoms Vendor, who operates in more than 170 countries across the globe and serves more than one third of the world’s population. They provide a vast number of services and products to Telecoms Operators, Enterprises and Consumers.I am based onsite for Huawei, where I am responsible for managing the end - to end recruitment cycle, and ensuring that only the highest quality candidates are sourced and selected to join the company.My responsibilities in this role include (but are not limited to)Working closely with the Internal Huawei HR Recruitment Team to establish needs for resource within each department of the business.Engaging with managers / stakeholders to obtain a full brief for their specific requirements.Writing full and detailed job briefs and advertising them using a number of Job Boards and Social Media channels.Using various methods to source and select potential candidates, including Boolean Searching on a number of Job Boards, Internal Database searching, as well as Headhunting via LinkedIn and referrals.Conducting Pre-Screening / Telephone interviews with potential candidates to assess their suitability for the positionArranging interviews (Face to Face / VC / Telephone) for the Line Managers / HR, and ensuring each candidate receives constructive feedbackNegotiating with both Client and Candidate in regards to salaries / package etc
