About Laura Hyde

Almost 20 years ago, I decided that my ultimate passion was to help technical professionals increase their effectiveness and results. So I founded Morgan Training, which specializes in helping technical organizations increase revenues, improve margins and decrease miscellaneous costs associated with ineffective soft skills. I took all of my years of selling and communicating with customers, as well as internal colleagues and managers (sometimes those are the hardest persuasions!), combined it with my technical background and training experience and put it together into programs specifically designed for technical organizations. I included best practices from all the training programs I had attended along the way--Miller-Heiman, Sandler, Spin Selling, Wilson Learning, etc.; but, I modified the content to resonate with engineers and other technical professionals. I included the science behind selling and communicating, so engineers would understand "why" certain methodologies or strategies might work. But the main focus is on "tools for their toolboxes" that can be utilized immediately to raise the bar on their performance. In addition, I learned to customize the content as well as the exercises to fit each client's unique situation. Application of learning is one of my specialties and is demonstrated in our highly effective customer specific exercises. Our training programs have been enthusiastically embraced by technical professionals--our average training course mark is 9.3/10!I've watched as a proud "parent" as my client companies have doubled and tripled their sales. I've seen engineers blossom into super effective and successful sales professionals, as well as highly effective managers of projects, programs and teams. How exciting it is to watch light bulbs go off in the training room! I'm so fortunate to have found my professional niche. I truly love what I do! As a trainer, peopIe have described me as passionate, dynamic and accomplished. I strive to be the best at whatever I do and most importantly, I have fun along the way!
