I am a staff reporter for Register Publications in Southeast Indiana and western Hamilton County. I cover city council meetings, school boards, faculty, student and staff activities and achievements, profiles, special events, township meetings, leaders in the community, new city additions, church activities, honors, art shows, in both a news and feature format. My beat includes Dearborn County, Ohio County and Harrison Township. Within those areas, I cover Lawrenceburg, Aurora, South Dearborn, Greendale, Harrison Township and Southwest Local School District. Previously I worked as a feature writer for aeqai, an international online visual arts magazine, for eight years. I profiled arts leaders and organizations under the direction of former editor Daniel Brown. Before that I was a writer for Hyde Park Living under the direction of editor Grace DeGregorio. I wrote features about Hyde Park leaders, residents and organizations for five years. I am a member of The Society of Professional Journalists and have won two awards from The Press Club of Cleveland and one from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists for my feature writing. I have a B.A. in English, cum laude, from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, in Geneva, New York.
